Global warming, the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans, had already happened since the mid-twentieth century and its projected continuation. During the hundred years ending in 2005, the average global air temperature near the Earth's surface increased 0.74 ± 0.18 °C (1.33 ± 0.32 °F). This environmental change should have some impacts to the environment. In my opinion, global warming can causes some negative effects to the environment.
Firstly, there are some negative impacts influences by global warming. The average global surface temperature rise about 1.1 to 6.4 °C (2.0 to 11.5 °F) during the twenty-first century. Increasing global temperature will cause sea level to rise, and is expected to increase the intensity of extreme weather events and to change the amount and pattern of precipitation. Other negative effects of global warming include changes in agricultural yields, trade routes, glacier retreat, species extinctions and increases in the ranges of disease vectors.
Yet, global warming also has a positive impact. Theory predicts and observations confirm that human-induced warming takes place primarily in winter, lengthening the growing season. Satellite measurements now show that the planet is greener than it was before it warmed. There are literally thousands of experiments reported in the scientific literature demonstrating that higher atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations, cause by human activity, dramatically increase food production.
Nevertheless, global warming gives another negative effect to the environment. Global warming changes in agricultural yields, trade routes, and glacier retreat. Even it can cause the certain species extinctions and increases in the ranges of disease vectors.
In conclusion, global warming has a negative aspect to the environmental life. Global warming can change the environmental badly. The negative side of global warming had already felt by the world citizens.
