task 4

Coet – Selling Children

If you pass by Trunojoyo Street in Bandung in the middle of the day, you will see some kids selling coet monitored by the parents, usually their fathers. They are kids between six to twelve years old. They offer coet to the driver along the street. And, because they are kids, people will usually sympathize them and buy the coet. That is the point that the parents taking advantage of.

I feel very sorry for the kids. They cannot having education, happiness, and all the things that a kid should have. And if they continue selling coet, which is very heavy, they will grow up abnormally. They will be shorter than the other kids and even hunchbacked. I hope the government concern about them.
