Glass Making Process

Glass is used in many purposes in our life.There are several steps to make these glasses. First of all, prepare all materials, like sand,soda limestone, furnace, roller, compressor,paint. After that sand,soda and limestone are mixed in furnace with high temperature between 1600-2300 ⁰ F for 4-6 hours. The result of this process called substance. Then the substances flown into a large tank. After that , from the tank, the substance flown through the pipe into channel. There are two channels depending to what type of glass we like to make.The first channel is for making plate glass.the substance is put onto the templates. The templates are made as plate shape. Then this product is pressed with compressor to make this product harden. After that the harden plate rolled to paint sector in order to give an attractive color of the plate.The second channel is for making bottle glass. First, the substance is put onto the templates. The templates are made as bottle shape. After that the center of the template filled with the air to make space in the product. Then the product is pressed with compressor to make the product harden. Finally the plates and the bottles are packed and ready to be sold.
